Mercure Burford Bridge Box Hill Wedding Photographer
I was recommended to Stella by a friend of hers who had attended a wedding I had photographed in Friern Manor the previous summer. This was also a summer wedding and everywhere you looked there was an explosion of colour. Stella arrived in a bright red Cadillac looking amazing in her white lace dress with a stunning floral headband. Her bouquet was made up from red, yellow and orange flowers.
Theth century and allegedly incorporates oak timbers used in the Spanish Armada. The barn can accommodate up to 220 for a ceremony and an impressive 250 guests for a wedding reception so all your guests can relax in some stunning surroundings.
After the ceremony we all went outside into the beautiful gardens where we took some group shots as well as lots of photos of the bride and groom. Their daughter was a bridesmaid and looked gorgeous in her yellow dress and was far from being camera shy! After the photos in the garden we stepped out to the front of the hotel where we took some more pictures of the couple enjoying the red Cadillac. My personal favourite photo is the one of Nick holding up the ‘Just Married’ sign – they just look so happy.
Whilst we were busy taking photos the staff cleared the Barn and set up for the wedding breakfast. The reception was attended by family from Spain and Newcastle and as you can imagine the speeches were extremely moving and humorous. The guests had a great time dancing the night away into the early hours!
I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are thinking of booking a wedding at the Burford Bridge hotel or elsewhere.
Their very kind Testimonial reads:
Paul was brilliant on our special day. He was super efficient yet warm and friendly when rounding up guests for group photos. The gold frame idea went down really well and we have some quirky shots of our friends. We’re really pleased with our wedding pictures and feel Paul captured just what a fantastic day it was.
